My Sacred Journey

“The spiritual journey is an inward pilgrimage, a sacred exploration of the depths of your soul.” – Unknown

Whether you call it a pilgrimage, power journey, or sacred journey, the path we take is to recover our authentic self and connect with the divine within us. For me, it’s called sacred journey. My trip to Teotihuacán is another avenue of working inward to understand who I am, why am I here and where am I going.

My trip to Teotihuacán is not my first. After I signed up for the trip, I was going through old pictures and realized I had been there before. My mom took me to Mexico as a high school graduation gift. I really have no memory of it except for a few glimpses. It was not a spiritual journey just being a tourist. But I do remember being in awe of it and climbing the Sun Pyramid.

This trip will definitely be different! I am participating in a 5-day power journey with don Jose Ruiz and don Miguel Ruiz Jr. I can’t explain what we will be doing in Teotihuacán because it depends on the group’s energy. So no daily itinerary! It’s about unknowing what you think you know. Having faith and trust that magic will happen at every event.

So in preparation of this trip, it was recommended to read the following books:

• Beyond Fear. This book explains some terminologies that the Ruiz Family uses on the Teotihuacán retreats. It will give you a better understanding of the process you will experience.
• The Fifth Agreement. The core of all the teachings of the Ruiz Family.
• The Mastery of Life. Great explanation of how the sacred pyramids and plazas of Teotihuacán act as symbolic stops on the transformative path of Toltec Warriors.

As I am on my trip, I will send out information regularly. Follow me as I go through my sacred journey.
